You know Eli is a true car guy when he has one unfinished project, but dives headfirst into another one. Lol. We’ve all been there! Great find Eli, that thing looks really solid!

I can't believe after all of those fixes, the one thing that kept it from running was a slightly loose connector in the steering column. That gremlin was probably what grounded the car.

Alex I love how you’re helping the younger car enthusiasts live out their dreams. What a standup guy, keep being the man you are.

Awesome. So cool of you Alex and Peter to donate your time helping a young car enthusiast. Your creating a future mechanic. 😇.

That is a gem for $2500! Actually building an engine for my 87 GT right now. My favorite cars. I'd say 43k per interior and undercarriage

Bro I found my 91 GT in some old guys garage, paid him $800 and I've had it for 12 years fixed a lot of stuff, new quarter glass windows, original Ford Windshield and brand new original cheese grater tail lights. Keeping it as original as possible. Great car did a bunch of work to it just love it!!!! Growing up in the mid 80's to late 90's I've always wanted a 5.0 mustang I was lucky to have, made my dream come true.

You guys are incredible! Starting a car that sat for 25 years…in a parking lot! So cool if you and Peter to help out Eli. You’re a great mentor!

80s were such a great decade for automobiles. Mustangs, 944s, and even my 85 S10. Great find, Eli.

Love the parking lot diagnosis just like most of us find ourselves from time to time. Way more interesting than than watching guys throw money at cars and call it a build. For that I’m subscribed!

This brings me back to when I had my 93 GT. This definitely looks like a 43k mile car, not 143k. Awesome find and price!

Alex, great to see you having so much success with your channel. I recently finished doing a full resto- mod on my 1992 5.0 that I have owned off and on for 20 years. It now has 360, 000 miles on it and runs and looks great. Felt like I was standing right next to you guys on this one. Also I love that the younger generation is interested in these cars and they know what they are.👍

Peter is the best addition to this channel. I’ve been waiting since the beginning and loved each and every video. Watch Alex have a buddy to work on cars with is awesome! Keep up the great work!

Mad respect to Alex for doing all this work in a parking lot. A lot of YouTubers wouldn't do this at all!

I’m having flashbacks, Alex! I was a Mustang guy before I was a Mercedes guy and I owned a ‘93 5.0 LX back when they where new and years later worked at a Ford Performance shop and specialized in Fox body Mustangs. I’ve worked on lots of these cars and this one is very clean for its age and I would almost say that it’s 43k miles just looking at how clean the interior and undercarriage looks. So sad that someone let this car sit outside but it’s going to be a nice resto! Can’t wait for more updates.

27:37 This is why I love this channel: it's real. No bullcrap, just people working on cars and running into things that happen when you work on cars.

Edit: I wrote the above comment while I was watching the video. Little did I know at 28:34 (only a minute later!) the REAL shiznit would happen. I like the channels that do things for show and for fun, but when something's real, the viewer feels it, and this channel really brings that across with Alex's enthusiasm, concern, and immediate reactions to bad situations.

AWESOME video!! I’m so glad Eli is learning how to bring back the dead. It will help him in his career. Great job to all at Legit Street Cars and Eli ((my grandson)! Very proud of everything I’ve seen from each of you!
