No obnoxious background music, no Go-Pro jumping around with flashes of useless material and no waste of recording. Just a great video with a wonderful old truck and desire to make it work. Simple. Looking  forward to previous and new uploads!! Fix the Dodge and have two trucks, one with a Hemi.

What I love about this videos, is that there is no stupid background music. Such a good atmosphere.

carbs are tricky but fun to work on one and figure it out. I love how these guys are walking through actually diagnosing and fixing it!

Kevin, I know that sometimes it's a bother to always be asked about this vehicle, but that's definitely not without reason. This series showed that anyone, with a little bit of knowhow and a little determination can attempt a revival and bring a vehicle back to its glory. I found this video in 2018, and at the time, I knew nothing about cars. I had bought my first one about a week before I came across this video, actually. This led me down quite the rabbit hole, and after three years of watching this awesome content from you and others, I had the courage to attempt one myself. Mine was on a vehicle quite a bit newer, my father's old, derelict 2000 F150 that sat for the better part of five years, but without you and the way you break down concepts and make them easier to understand, it would still just be a big pile of scrap sitting in the same spot. Thank you so much, Kevin.

I was going to say something about checking the oil for signs of water, but after listening to the conversation about other aspects of old engine revival, I think the oil was checked. I like these guys, they know what they're doing!

Currently in my '74, four on the floor.

Say what you will, old fords are simple, fixable, and tanks once you get them working.

As a mechanic watching them turn over an engine with 26 year old oil hurts my soul.... in the meantime nice find!

I'm not a big fan of Ford, but my heart warms whenever I see an old car or truck. Dunno why, just got a fondness for them. Really glad to see that you brought this old beauty back to life. *commenting here prior to seeing the 4 part videos reviving it as recommended to watch.*

It's almost alive . I gave my son a 66 f100 with a 352 4spd with 70, 000 original miles on it a couple of years ago, it had sat 20 years . Two years later and a bunch of work you can drive it anywhere . Great videos 1&2 and who's going to take this one home .

The dude doing the work sure seems talented. I wish I had half the talent he has when I was younger. Hell... wish I had it now..

I really like the fact that you make sure everything is operating properly before you try to fire it up. Most people would've just hooked power to it and caused some major damage, fighting the urge is hard so I respect the good work ethic!

I commented on the Galaxy video. I am an old dude and we used to do this to old cars from the '30s to the early '50s. I'm 70 so I've spaned a few decades. My first car was a 49 Chrysler with an "automatic", still needed the clutch. But what fun getting these old girls running. Rock on you young dudes LOL

I don't know much about rescuing abandoned cars, BUT, I do believe it would be a good idea to drain the gas and oil before testing for crank rotation (0:44)... so you aren't introducing totally fucked fluids into the carb and engine lube system.
