Here is a short video for you (must be one of my shortest).
To some channels, 6k subs and 4million total videos is nothing, but for our channel it definitely means something. Thank you for watching.

My 6000th subscriber gets a mention here:
KYLE COMBS

(BTW, the criteria for getting a mention for "thousand" subscriber is: Your channel has to have a significant number of uploads of your own material)

Still better to modernized it by Kone than by a generic company

According to Beno, it is illegal to disrespect an ecodisc. BTW Mr. Chay loves these kinds of elevators.

Nice video. I too thought it was suspiciously short and liked the underpants reference.

That's a really nice wood grain on the doors.

It so sad to see these lifts getting modernised. The oldest lift that I have being in in the last year that has not being modernised (yet) is from 1993, an Otis Europa 2000. If I won the Euromillions, I would start up a business that would do up old lifts, especially if its set in an old style atmosphere, and keep them the same way as they were originally. I know there is no relay logic systems being made no more, but I would test each old lift brand (Express, Otis, Bennie, Evans, etc) and get a logic to work exactly the same as the relay logic on the old lifts (from acceleration to levelling). I would take the buttons, indicators, doors, bumpers, etc, bring them to a workshop, and get them repaired and cleaned up, so they would look like brand new. The cabs would be repainted in the original colours and cleaned up to look brand new inside. Also, if the lifts are not disability friendly, then we would lower the buttons or put the same type of buttons lower down for people on wheelchairs.
I know it sound too ambitious, but it would be a great way of preserving old lifts.

I noticed on some lifts in Moscow that the floor moved slightly - I suspected it detected passengers. I lifted myself off the floor using the rail and I am sure it went faster. Is this a fact - do some empty lifts go onto high speed?

Tasteful mod. Sounds like it still has its original motor just with new LCE logic, and let's face it, LCE is not a bad logic. It could be Lester Controls or TVC and we know that'd not perform half as well! :) I'll give it a thumbs up, it could be worse.

what was the previous lift? Is the current lift now an ecodisc?
