In this video, Raef Eagan gives us a simple tutorial on how to replace a cracked, broken, or worn-out motor mount on a 1999 Honda Accord. This will restore the smooth-functioning of the vehicle whilst cranking the engine or switching on the air conditioning. The new motor mount cost Raef a measly $17 and saved him a fortune on labor costs.

I just got a quote from a mechanic to replace the front motor mount. After watching this HELPFUL and informative video, I'll be tackling this task myself.

Thanks again! Saved me lots of $.

Great video, i paid $20 for new mount at Oreilly Auto parts and did it myself in about an hour! Pep Boys quoted me $152 for the job which included the mount so you saved me $132. Thanks again

Yesterday I found out I needed a front left motor mount on our 2004 Honda Accord. The Dealership wanted $499 to replace it! Needless to say I plan on tackling this one soon. Thank you, Ab

Got it done today with your clear instructions!
BTW in my Honda Accord 2002 one of the 3 holes on the new mount had to be widened (dremel grinding stone worked well) to accommodate the bolt
Thanks again!

I want to thank you for the good advice I was able to fix my wife's Honda accord exactly how you did your video. A little tip for everybody out there do not buy from O'Reilly auto parts they will not work on this vehicle try to buy Honda genuine parts or maybe AutoZone no problem, take care all

Thanks. very helpful. Broke a 3/8" drive socket wrench getting the bolts off. The bolts on the new part don't line up. Maybe because I didnt follow your exact sequence on the install. Listening at 3:33 minutes is key. This will be day 4 on this project for me.

Yes I agree with Ann McEwen, how to do you replace the rear one, i have a 98 accord lx 4 cyl, auto trans. I think is the same as a 2002 accord, also is autozone duralast the same as the dealership, I called duralast manufacturer and they said their works and it has the hose connection, and that the hose goes to a solenoid just to control vibration if the engine is idling really bad

I have a 92 Accord. It makes a loud noise (metal banging against each other) and hood moves when I hit a bump, it vibrates when I shift to drive and turn on AC. Engine mounts?
