Flying my parents for the first time in my 50 year old plane! ✈

In this video, I took my parents on a flight in my 1978 plane and got their reaction. We went wine tasting and had so much fun. This video is full of fun and excitement! Watch till the end :)

As an option to starting your fuel timer, an experienced instructor recommended a simple approach to fuel monitoring. If the minute hand is between 6 and 12 (left side of the clock face) burn from left tank. If the minute hand is between 12 and 6 (right side of the clock face) burn from the right tank. Of course, now I realize your young age everything you see in terms of time is digital so this will likely not be well received. LOL Please ignore.

That’s soooo cool. Your parents should be proud of you because we know how difficult and challenging becoming a pilot is. I recommend you get the SCOOP for your storm window especially since you fly in California and it’s mostly hot like here in Florida. I put it in my warrior and it helps a lot on the ground.

Unless I'm mistaken, radio calls at an uncontrolled field ought to begin and end with the field name ("Paso Robles traffic, Cherokee 2222B on final, Paso Robles")? I did all my flight training at a Class D airport, and I always kept forgetting to announce the filed name when I flew to smaller uncontrolled airports...

Come up to Auburn CA KAUN awesome restaurant on the airport and 2 very good breweries. Knee Deep and Moonraker breweries. They are right next to the airport.
