FLYING MY PARENTS TO HAWAII (I cried on the airplane)

For the first time in my 20 year career as an airline pilot, I finally got to fly my parents on one of my trips. We went to Kauai, Hawaii and I got to show them one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I just wanted to say as a nervous flyer, I love anytime I hear The pilot come onto the speaker and tell us about the weather, the time etc etc it just makes me feel good to hear a calm voice.

I will never forget taking my parents for a short cross country flight in a Cessna 172. My father had been a pilot many years ago but had not flown for many years so it was quite a thrill to take him flying. Both my parents have passed now but I will never forget how much he enjoyed getting to fly with me!
