What is the difference between an RN and LPN?

While a registered nurse or nurse practitioner plays an active role in conceptualizing patient treatment plans, LPNs tend to be much more task-driven in their work and are typically responsible for actually carrying out those treatments.

I would personally recommend the same thing. Get a CNA certification here in tx in 6 wks, work and have them help you for tuition for LPN on keep going don't look back

If you want to make more get more experience, dont wait years. Travel nursing is a thing even if you dont leave your area. Work overnights instead of days. Be a weekend warrior. Use an app. There are literally a million ways to make more money. They are not going to pay you more, if they dont have to. When i move to ga 5 years ago, a nursing agency offered me 16/hr as a RN. Laughable. I eventually got a gig for 30/hr now im at 55/hr. HOME HEALTH. ADN prepared.

Some are not even grasping the context of the video. She said she was making 40 an hour by being an LPN NOT A CNA! Also your state depends on your pay! I’m sure California and New York Nurses are making a great amount of hourly pay!

Fantastic! Lvn in California and make 59/hr. I'm hoping to bridge over to RN. But as an LVN, I am still going to start my legal nurse consulting business. I think every nurse LVN or RN should have to go through cna. I did, and I am grateful I did.

Hey everyone, what do you guys recommend? Is it better to become a RDH, or a RN, please explain the reason why? Also, are both of these equally academic challenging? Thank you!
