I love this. No drug out intro. No rambling about how to jack up the vehicle and remove the wheel and tire. Right to the point.

Great video. No BS run around, just straight to the point. Thank you for this

thank you for such a simple and to the point video!

Should note that this only works on a PASSIVE ABS sensor. With ACTIVE sensors, you need to keep it attached to the vehicle and use fly leads to hook into the system, then turn the ignition on as voltage is required.

Hi mate, thanks for the video, can I ask where you got the test lead long reach sprung crocodile/ alligator clips that you used on the sensor from? They are awesome....

Most modern sensors are hall effect type. This is only a good test on the older ac inductive type. Still a good test but pretty outdated

The sensor has to have a resistance that would indicate if it is ok.... can you tell me how many ihm i must measure?

Will this abs sensor test work on motorcycle abs sensors as well?

Thank you very much saved me buying a scanner

What about testing the other end of that connector? (The one going to the car instead of the hub) is it simply a resistance test?

If the wheel sensor is bad, and I go to live data for abs system on a professional scanner, will the bad sensor be showing speed for that wheel? Shouldn't one of the wheels be staying at zero mph when the car is moving if a wheel sensor is bad?

Not exactly mate as it may not be fitted into hole properly. The mark on axle being the pickup might be damaged. The sensor may be damaged itself so figures not as expected. To just see figures is not enough.

will this work on a 2004 Honda Accord?

It's best to check the resistance of the sensor to make sure it's within range.

nice but how do you test the rear axel sensor?

Does this work on a 93 yukon and a 2003 mustang?

What if there's a dead spot or a drop out I don't think that test says weather its bad or not with out a scope it's not 100% just my opinion but thanks for taking the time to make the video and no disrespect by any means just saying it's alot to it for instance it's so easy to get burned. Example test that you did checks out then next step wire integrity and harness if they check out last check powers and ground at abs module before you call a 400 abs module and all long there was a dead spot in the abs wheel sensor it happens alot
