If you have Mazda 3, there is a valve that gets stuck WITHOUT an error code. The brakes will feel mushy. You need to get on an unpaved road and brake hard activating ABS 5-10 times. This will unblock the valve. No diagnostics or replacement needed. You are welcome.

Can hear this guy doesn't just talk he knows what he is doing. And is correct with voltage drop. From my experience and as a electronic technician old school one taught me also. A voltage drop can also be to a short circuit that has some resistance. So it can cause problems like on cars your battery life gets shortened. And you basically get 2 types of short circuit one with 0 resistanc which causes fuse to blow usually. And the one with resistance so the fuse doesnt blow yet you get battery drainage issues. And i have seen it in the past. Few months ago i worked on a Toyota hilux which had extra battery in for camping lights and so on. The owner asked me if i could test if there wqs 12volt at the connectors at back of rhe vehicle. I tested the ground 1st and its fine. 12v side dead. So went to engine compartment test that battery 0volt! He is like what?! 0 volt?! That cant be. I also tested a 100 amp fuse which is also fine. So he went in to make some coffee and now my brain is thinking and im like yeah 0volt is extremely flat. So i removed the positive terminal on that battery tested again and i got like 2 volt literally 😂. The moment i touched the positive terminal on battery volts drop immediately so theres a short circuit somewhere in that harnass. The client also said the people that fitted his reverse camera suspect that they might have damaged some wires. So yeah just to be extra safe i insulated the positive terminal. So in mean time the client can take vehicle to the workshop that fits the camping accessories and so.

Thanks. My MK2 TT is due to the 40A fuse at the back(above batter)fractured hence the code contains "intermittent " after the 01276 error

Voltage drop would be from B+ at battery to the power wire at module. You did available voltage tests

Wish all auto vids were clear and precise as yours. I just bought a 04 Pontiac Bonneville in wonderful condition except the abs pump had a leak from underneath the black cylinder. It was where the elec harness is mounted. Took off the module and used a whole can of brake cleaner inside /out then used permatex on the harness gasket and reattached it. Prior owner was using E brake to drive it. Do you figure the pump is burned up cause he left all harnesses connected and no fluid in the system? The brake system is bone dry I'm sure. Don't want to waste time putting module back on, replace fluid and bleed for nothing. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

I'm in the thick of things right now with my 06 GMC HD2500. I 'm using an old Snap On brick so did a bleed test & know ABS motor works, but pedal blowby felt where it should push back against foot during this test. I have done a road test & speed registers at all frt & r. WHEELS . If I delete abs light & drive off, ABS light stays off during complete drive cycle. Only when I shut truck off turn back on ABS light glows but yet no codes are being registered!! truck brakes fine otherwise. everything on truck is new from last year and nothing is worn & no seized "calipers" including a new master & hydro boost. Will check wiring for bad ground or ?? Coincidence after replacing a bad RF hub bearing yet, speed sensor registers ok! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!! you gave me a couple more tips to check out !! THERE IS A REASON AND I HATE UNWANTED DASH LIGHTS !!🤣

*I have a 2004 Lexus GS300 with the fault codes of C0246 open/short circuit SRR brake booster, C0256 O/S circuit SRL, C1223 Malfunction ABS control module. All wheel speed sensors read correctly. Is the Malfunction Code do to the first two?*

I checked the 40 amp fuse for the abs motor and the fuse is good but there’s only 4.5 volts there. Any idea what could a use that?

Most common stuff I've seen recently is open circuits in wheel speed sensors traced back to ABS pump
