Since its debut on the Gamecube, The Pikmin series has become another one of Nintendo's many beloved franchises. And recently, Pikmin 4 added plenty of new faces to the universe, all of whom have distinct personalities

Its crazy how olimar was willing to kill himself, leaving his family without him, all just so Moss would be able to survive instead. Of course he lived which is cool, but he didnt know that, he just said "nah moss is feeling bad outside her ecosysyem, we going back". Surprisingly deep character

Fun fact. If you ever fail a dandori or night stage, there’s an option for Dingo to immediately beat the whole thing. So he’s actually the only rescue corps member to actually help you out in the field.

I guess you can say that poor Louie’s eyes are bigger than his stomach. I never knew Alph cared so much, that Charlie has a thing for Brittney, and that Brittney can be a bit like Rouge the Bat at times.

Oatchi not getting the gold medal is a travesty. The Pikmin 4 protagonist collaborated with him on virtually everything, and he does the bulk of the work. He is the goodest boy.

Honestly, I can't say I'm surprised that Louie of all people is ranked the most evil here. He ate all the pikpik carrots, lied about it, is heavily implied to have been in control of the Titan Dweevil, stole food from the Pikmin 3 protagonists, kickstarted the story of Pikmin 4 by essentially abandoning Olimar because of his mental state, somehow mind-controlled the Ancient Sirehound into trying to kill the Pikmin 4 protagonist, and never seems to learn his lesson.
And all that for what? To satisfy his insatiable hunger?

Olimar remarks in one of Pikmin 4's treasure entries that while he respects and admires classic heroic figures (strongly implying Zelda is a game his son plays), he personally doesn't consider himself to be one as he would tend to save himself over others in a crisis, even if his actions towards Moss suggest otherwise. For that, I would switch Olimar and Alph and the Koppai Crew as he does risk his life on an alien planet to save his people from starvation. It is arguable the Koppaites are also saving themselves from starvation so their heroicism isn't *completely* selfless, so they definitely fall behind the Rescue Corps who are just insanely selfless and save literal dozens of people with zero expectation of a reward (even if they do incidentally become rich over the course of Pikmin 4 from obtaining valuable assets that just happened to contain fuel needed for their ship to operate).

Moss is one of the kindest characters as well, he was just following the orders that he was given. He was just being loyal.

In Pikmin 3, he stole juice from the people who saved him

In Pikmin 4, he is lurking to eat creatures

Kingsly is easily the most evil, as they are never satisfied no matter how many damn flowers you bloom, and denying my 100% with all the quests

I feel like the Plasm Wraith being missing from this list is a pretty noticeable absence since it's definitely a sapient being. I'd probably put it in gray area since its motives are unknown.

I don't think, louie is a, evil character, he's just weird and hungry and puts eating above everything else, causing problems on his way. He doesn't control the titan dweevil, just like the bomb doesn't control the volatile dweevil. in Pikmin 4 he just wants to be alone and not get disturbed, not realizing how much he's needed, because he's, well, weird. He also mentions in his log that he rememders olimar as a good person, but doesn't really know, what he looks like. I think he's psychologically ill, but that doesn't make him evil, he's just unaware of his surroundings. The only time, he really acts evil is, when he kind of possesed the otherwise friendly ancient sirehound with these red eyes.

On August 31th do the Mario and Rabbids series characters good to evil please because Rayman will be coming out on the 30th so I think it will be a good time to do it a day after the Rayman DLC

there is one more character that was not mentioned that should probably be at the top of the grey area. This character is the Sage Leaf, he is the character that gives you the final two onions after sending you through multiple trials, and is a polite old Leafling who doesn't remember his past. He is trustworthy but little is known about him. He is also the only Leafling not to be reverted.
