The Oneplus 7T is the successor of the Oneplus 7 and a slightly toned-down version of the Oneplus 7 Pro. The 7T offers a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. However, Oneplus 7T offers a FullHD resolution, instead of a QHD that was present on the 7 Pro. Also, the 7T features a notch instead of a pop-up camera.

Oneplus never compromise on the performance and that can be seen on the Oneplus 7T as well. The Oneplus 7T features a Snapdragon 855+ paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage. With 90Hz on board and cleaner Oxygen OS, the performance one of the best at this price range.

What's not best is the Cameras. The triple rear camera is about average and so is the front camera. Battery-wise, you get a 3800mAh battery which will easily give you 1 day of use. It also supports 30W Warp charging which charges the phone from 0 to 70% in 30mins.

Enjoyed your review of the 1+ 7t phone, I just purchased one for myself, unlike many in your age bracket I am an older person so I get a new phone when the old one starts acting older than me.
The 1+ 7t is a blast of fun to use, lots of new toys to play with on it and the learning curve isn't beyond my 66 plus years (I also have a nerd son who helps me when I get stuck on something). The waterproofing or resistance is a concern for me because I live in a wet climate 8 months out of the year, , , , maybe 10 months depending on the year. I am not a gamer but do like taking pictures, I do admit with this phone I don't need to lug around a camera bag with various cameras to take pictures with, this little phone does it all for me with decent results.
Your review of this phone is by far the best I'd seen on YouTube so far (I've watched dozens) and your explanations of the phones features both strong points and weak points was great, Thank You.

I am camera crazy. But after using this 7T for over a month, I am myself surprised to learn that it's software is so smooth and over all experience is just amazing. Ergonomics, smooth 90 Hz display, vibration motor makes you understand that camera is secondary and the actual mobile usage experience is primary aim of a smart phone.

Cameras are very very good. I don't know why many YouTubers say it lacks far behind to the flagships....!!

Just bought an Amazon renewed version on this phone. It's an absolute beast of a phone. Cameras are good and then when you put gcam on it, the selfie comes to life. I like the cameras. They don't oversaturate like Samsung. The face unlock is super fast. The 90 hertz refresh rate just looks amazing.

Watching this video with 7t which I bought yesterday and feeling awesome❤️❤️❤️. Technologies now going fast. You will never satisfied. Going to stick with 7t at least 2 years. No worries for update as one plus promise current flagship going to have at least 2 major updates.

OnePlus 7T doesn't have an IP rating but it is water resistant to some extent, the reason why they didn't get an IP rating is because it would have added around $30 to the phone's price.

OnePlus even published a video alongside the release of the 7 Pro demonstrated its phone falling into a bucket of water.

Check JerryRigEverything video where he does a teardown of the phone, there you can see that the whole interior of the 7t is build to prevent the entry of water which is mostly present in high end flagship

After using 3months I really loved with 90hz refresh rate, fast charging, what i hate is back bump camera . picture quality also not good

I have this phone and I like it except for the fact that the audio recording when taking video is HORRIBLE, it's compressed and full of noise. This was an important thing to me since I take videos of my kids performances and recitals. I ended up purchasing a $250 Shure MV88+ microphone because the captured audio is so bad. The Pixel 3A XL I had before had way better recorded audio. Bottom line is that if the recorded audio is not important to you, this phone is fantastic- I love everything else about this phone- if recorded audio is important, look elsewhere or plan on getting an external microphone to record video. Nice review by the way.

Absence of an IP rating is just an absolute no-no for a phone in this price bracket. Here in the UK it costs £550. In comparison, for £600 you can get a Huawei P30 Pro. So, in that sense the OnePlus 7T cannot really be regarded as a flagship killer. It costs almost the same and lacks some must-have features. Sure, for me a good camera is far more important than gaming performance (I just don't play games), so I understand that others have different priorities. But seriously, having to stick your phone into a plastic bag is just laughable. I cycle to work every day, and it rains a lot here in the UK as well, I don't want to use extra protection for my phone.

OP 7T is one of the best phone in this segment. The gorgeous display coupled with 90Hz display & a powerful Snapdragon 855+ under the skin makes the surfing buttery smooth & blazing fast. If u r worrying about battery life - DON'T. It is giving a 7 hrs screen on time & with Warp charge it charges 65-70% in 30 minutes. The triple camera is surprisingly good. ( bluhh it takes high contrast photos but I like them).Supermacro & Nightscape mode are superb.


Only complain- Wireless Bluetooth headphones only & I am missing using wired headphones & earphones. 😭
