Oxygen OS beats pretty much every other version of Android on the market.

I've had the OPX, the 3T and the 5T...now i've got a Pixel 2 XL and frankly...i miss Oxygen.

Its not even Android issue, is your issue. I have fingerprint certification with all my android phones and I dont have to type all my passwords, only the very first time I log in.

The fact that in my country Oneplus 7T is priced at 542 US dollars(38, 000 indian rupees) and iphone is priced at 914 US dollars(64, 000 indian rupees) there is no comparison for us between these two phones !

I have both....if you want the best screen get the OnePlus, you want the best cameras get the iPhone, other than that they are both great phones, depends on what you want iOS or Android.

Good solid review. I was an avid iphone user but switched to oneplus because of Apples rediculous pricing. I was scared to switch but oneplus has a really good ui and android is more flexible.

I love how Kevin admits to be a iPhone User but but not so bias to say Apple or the iPhone 11 is better. In fact saying the OnePlus is actually the “better” option since you do get more bang for your buck. Great review and video. And I watched this on a iPhone 11 Pro Max but want a Pixel 4 XL 😏

This is what I think as of 11/17/2019. Android is a mess. Now don't get me wrong, I like android and would like to use it over iOS. But Apple does a few things better that will make life easier for my wife and I.



1. Airdrop is baked into iOS and works great. Yes you can download Files by Google and that works great but it's not baked into android. Not having to show my wife a new app and having to explain what it does and why she needs it is a huge plus for me. We share a lot of photos and Airdrop will be nice to have.


2. Software support. I think everyone can agree with this. Android is a huge mess when it comes to software support. Google offers the best with 3 years support and they have so far followed through with that. But other than the Pixel 3a I don't like what they have to offer. OnePlus has a "Software Maintenance Schedule" but so far they haven't followed through with it. Samsung has good security updates but lacks with the OS updates. Apple is still supporting phones that are 5+ years old. That's a huge plus for me as I like to use my phones till they die


3. Camera System. The iPhone not only takes great photos it also does great video. Not saying Google, Samsung, OnePlus, or others don't do good video. I'm just saying that iPhone is by far the best smartphone when it comes to video.


If an android phone came out that ticked all those points then my next phone would be an android one. But as things are now I'll be getting my wife and I a iPhone 11

As a OnePlus user I can clearly say that, yea OnePlus is pretty fast enough for almost everyone and I really recommended it. But iPhone 11 isn't that bad either. The long-term software update, security, apple ecosystem, everything works so well than any Android phone. At the same time the camera and video quality of iPhone is obviously better and it's competing against pixel 4 XL very well.
iPhone is using their A13 bionic cheapest which is already faster than Snapdragon 855+. And IOS requires less ram than Androids to perform, so 4GB ram is good enough even for heavy users.

This started off in a bias way. The o plus at 599 and iPhone 11 at 700? If you are going to say 599 for Oneplus you should say 699 for iPhone.

Also we have been having notches for 2-3 years now. All attempts of removing it, or keeping a forehead have failed. It’s up to developers and the OS not to let content go beyond the notch and have that space next to it just for phone info.

If you still haven’t gotten used to the notch by now. I’m jealous you don’t have real problems in your life.

Kevin, great review, however, do not flip your wrist when chipping - hold the angle and rotate your body more to release the shot. This will give you better consistency and control!
