Slipknot was one of my favourite bands growing up and joey has always been one of my favourite drummers. This has hit me hard and I am extremely devastated by this news

I play guitar but Joey's unleashed drumming was the reason I got into Slipknot back in HS. I'm glad I saw them live while Joey was still in the band. Some of my buddies even hung out with him during Slipknot's Europe tour. Rest in peace, Joey.

His love for his craft is what inspired me to learn to play guitar ! (Drums are expensive, and guitars fascinated me more)
I picked up a guitar this year all because of my love for Slipknot's music, very saddened by his passing :C
