Tip: You dont actually need a sword for the probes if Titanium Ore spawns in your world after smashing altars, since a full set of titanium armour has the Set bonus of generating a barrier of titanium shards when attacking enemys meaning by wearing a full set of titanium armour and attacking an enemy it will generate a barrier of titanium shards that will damage and push away probes from the Destroyer once they reach you.

Destroyer is the easiest boss for melee class on FTW, on this seed he have double segments so just use dripler crippler fly high spawn him go down find where he spawned (while spawning all segments are in same place)
Dripler cripler have infinite pierce so you can two shot mech boss

Melee: drippler crippler.
Ranged: daedalus stormbow if no mechs defeated with holy arrows, old one's army bow if any mech defeated with unholy arrows.
Mage: the cloud rain staff thing and meteor staff/crystal shard staff.
Summoner: the ghost form pre-hardmode with firecracker with spider queen sentry.

as a mage, please do not use crystalball shard, try a meteor staff crystal serpent or the razorblade typhoon(hardest to get but worth it)
