Omg I just noticed that my backup storage is larger than my actual files/photos and apps ... I had an idea on how iCloud worked but not entirely! You’re a life saver. I don’t care about the apps backup just the essentials like contacts notes and reminders!
Btw once every year I clear my Photos and I saved them into ICloud Drive instead of IPhotos I really recommend that whenever you open your photo app it keeps the most recent ones and the old ones from 5 months and back stays still on your icloud files where you can access them whenever you want.

I just realized with this video (Super well explained ) that I don’t need backups or cloud storage because I always enjoy starting fresh for any device I get, don’t care for photos or docs and if anything might just save those on external drives.

In the 1st option of back up, can it restore the content of a specific app, for example the files, pdf, pics, vide saved in the app. Can I recover those?
In the 3rd option, can it also di that?

what happens when i delete all my old backups? does it erase everything? is it possible to delete old backups and then just do a new backup with everything that has been added?

Great video but the last backup version isn’t that clear. I’ve recently backup from an old iPhone to transfer to a new iPhone which worked just fine by using the Apple ID. I just realised that my storage is limited on my new iPhone so was wondering if I could delete the backup I did on my old iPhone which shows on my new iPhone to free space.

Good video, clear and well explained. You didn’t answer a question I have and wondered if you would be kind enough to explain. I doubt I’m the only one with it as I can’t be the only one utilising devices in this have an iPhone 8 and an IPhone SE. I use one for my actual phone and the second i use as kinda added storage/work camera. So the SE phone has my family photos on and the other iPhone 8 has my work photos on. I’d like to keep them separate if possible or at the very least not lose anything. So my question if I back up both phones to my iCloud is the latest backup going to overwrite the older one even though they are on different devices? or will they be backed up completely separately and remain independent of each other, or will the backups be merged in some way? I respectfully await thy wisdom sir.(thanks)

ok so for some reason i try to back up my phone once it’s done backing up it says it couldn’t be completed when i had wifi and storage i need helppp!! my phone keeps acting up and it’s an 8+ so idk why this happens

How about if u have 5gb and it’s running out and u want to delete some of the previous backup but not all apps ?just some like WhatsApp ?

Thanks for the info, im looking for the answer if use my i cloud back up or i cloud should will affect my game speed or mobile speed? My phone is iphone xsmax, i cant even find the answer because if i play games it almost slow speed so i got loss and i dont that my network is the problem
