Thank you for showing this video i have a Tear in my leather see that's been scratching at my leg for weeks and not to be judgy but some single working parents making their checks stretch from paycheck to paycheck can't afford and don't have $600 sitting in their bank account to replace or fix a seat in their car. I appreciate your patch idea. Thank you.

I use vinyl repair adhesive and vinyl fabric. precut the fabric to fit the area. Clean the area with alcohol. Apply the adhesive over the cleaned area and around the edge of the fabric on the back side. place the fabric over the area with the adhesive and press it out smooth. apply masking tape around the edge and over the fabric or apply light weight to hold it down until it dries. Remove the weight and tape then go around the edge with the adhesive and let that dry. The adhesive will self level and give you a near perfect appearance to the repair. The repair is long lasting durable and near permanent. I have used this technic to repair my car seats, boat seats and furniture. My bass boat fishing seats have lasted so far over 10 years and still looks great no pealing or coming loose even around the edges of the repair. My car and furniture repairs aren't as old as my boat, but they also still look great. I use my boat every weekend year round.

The comments section is always gold and this did not disappoint. I wanna say for all those asking where to buy "the patch"... Y'all c'mon. Use your brains. Does everyone have to tell you exactly everything? There are just some things that we should be able to do ourselves, like figuring out where to get it from. There's probably so many different brands of patches out there and different places that carry them, this YouTube channel shouldn't have to do that work for you. Google is your friend. Call your local detail shop or your dealership and ask them if you need to.

Yikes that looks terrible! Most leather seats zip off the frame and its easy enough to stitch those seams back together or use a patch on the back side so it doesn't look like a color duct tape fix.
