Hi Jessica, I'm an international follower, greetings from Peru! I'm 18 years old and due to my parent's illness, I couldn't enter university. I am trying to learn by myself and I am dreaming of one day working as a full-stack developer. This video really impressed me. Now I truly believe one day I will be able to do that. You are such an inspiration!!! Thank you so much!

Such an inspiring video! I just started learning a few months ago and am on the self-taught route. Imposter syndrome is probably the worst thing but seeing your story really encourages me to keep pushing through!

Inspiring story! I'm 29 now, and have been trying to learn coding for 2 years now. I don't feel I've made much progress, and I'm often weighed down by the thought that it's too late for me to learn, but your story has motivated me to further pursue coding.

Bruh, your manager at that place where you worked 6 years is the real MVP
Maybe just drop an email saying thank you for being my mentor teacher

As someone in my 30's who just began to self-study coding with the hopes of turning it into a career I will say this video is a real confidence booster! It is great to see an example of someone being able to put the work in on their own and have the ability to progress in the field.

I just turned 40, and am starting to learn HTML/CSS. I'm wanting to have a skill that will get me hired somewhere other than a fast food or factory job. I have been scared to learn, because of the 'imposter syndrome' thing you're talking about. But I'm going to keep learning, and get to Javascript and others after HTML/CSS. Thank you for posting a video like this. Also, love the animations.

Randomly stumbled upon your channel while I search for motivation going the self-taught route LOL as someone who barely started a few months ago at 28 and getting my first full-time job with benefits, I find this super relatable and the exact push I need. Thanks Jessica! you've got a new subscriber :)

I'm so happy after watching this video! Your story is great, and congratulations on your progress. You've earned it!
I'm actually an ICU Nurse and after this very long year, it got me thinking that it's time for a change. Now at 30 years of age, I've decided to go for a career change in Web Development, just started to learn code this past two weeks, and I'm doing my best not to feel overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I have to learn.
Anyway, I'm only going forward now, and I'm now subscribed to you channel! All the best 😁 keep up the great work!
