Pregnant couple’s home burns down one day after finishing nursery

Samir Chaudry and his pregnant wife spent last year renovating their new home in Palisades, California that they bought last January. They had just finished the nursery Monday, but the very next day, their home burned down from the wildfires. Samir spoke to Erin Burnett about a week that he says "doesn't feel real."

And getting in the way like the reporter that was trying to talk to people who were evacuating horses, just orbiting in front of them so they had to slow down. If you're not there to help, get out of the way.

You can't prevent an earthquake or a hurricane but you can prevent the large scale devastation caused by wild fires. Do we not have the technology to clear dead vegetation or to create a fire break ? How about storing plenty of water, you know, just for emergencies !?!

People need to remember that it’s not just celebrities who are affected by this fire. Not everyone has 2+ homes waiting for them. And who they voted for or the color of state politics doesn’t matter. I feel the same compassion for the t voters as the h voters who lost their homes and material possessions. I’m more concerned for those without funds to relocate than those with millions but it hurts losing a home & neighborhoods regardless of your financial status.
