Before you go saying that Yanmar is a crappy off brand machine I would encourage that you go do some research. They were the original inventors of the mini excavator and make some of the best Diesel engines in the world.

I sell a variation of these Chinese machines in Ontario, Canada. Specifically for my machines, we use yanmar or kubota engines, and italian or german pumps. Costs me a little extra but makes a world of a difference for a lot of my clientele that have operated these machines for their entire lives and just need something to get the work done around their property. The chinese mini ex's aren't everything bad you've heard stories of, but of course, you need to do your research.

I've sent this video to dozens of clients who's primary concern is cost. I win nearly every time, so thanks for your work on this kind of stuff. I owe you a beer at least!

I looked into Chinese excavators. I went with a used kubota. Cat is junk if you want a simple machine. Cat uses electric over hydrolic. They are fast. The feel isn't there. I run machines for a living. I have run about everything. Some are fast some are slow. I rented a Yanmar 17 few years ago. It wasn't very impressive. Kubota for what I have run so far. They have impressed me for what they can do. Price range of a used machine. You can't beat it. Their engines are very reliable. They have made tractors for years. I got a KX41-3V 1300 hours for $14, 000. Parts I can get anywhere. Buckets, teeth, exc. I may get a bigger one. But, It's done everything for me just fine. Some kubotas have angle blade. That's awesome very handy in every way.

You have the best channel for heavy equipment content, incredibly funny and informative at the same time.

The Chinese machine with a enclosed cab is a great deal for a gentlemen farmer but if you need the machine for work everyday the Yanmar is probably worth the investment.

A narrow and deep bucket would make a huge difference on the cheap excavator

The skinnier bucket will slice into the ground much easier; this was not a real digging comparison between machines, only the buckets. Swap buckets then see how it goes.

It's not about speed or towing on a jobsite, but price point and excavating power or lift

$15, 000 vs $50, 000 — no need to go any further.

There's a lot of videos on Chinese equipment out there. I like this one because you've done a fair comparison between a quality machine and a budget Chinese excavator. Most guys who buy those Chinese loaders and diggers are DIY'ers and homeowners who don't use the equipment daily in a commercial setting.

tbh for alot of usecases and applications, the chinese one is a no brainer for 15k. thats some value, especially if you can add aircon ;D

This past spring i was in the position of either buying a brand new chinese 3 ton or a 20 year old Kobelco 3 ton and decided to go with the Kobelco. I know theres parts available and the chinese quality is just not there yet.

i have putchased chinese attachments in the past and have always spent money on repairs or having to get parts custom machined to work.

Just posted a video of my Chinese mini excavator paired up with the TMK 150 tree sheer! Crazy how productive you can make a cheap machine!

In the towing, you should have used the scoop to get the truck moving and then see if the tracks alone could maintain it once initial inertia was overcome.

The cheap digger sounds like it’s about to stall out every time it takes a scoop. The Yama has a constant rev when digging

I think that you made a mistake. Do you see the arrow on the side of the track support. I believe that means that you should only load the tracks going in that direction. The reason being that in one direction the tracks on the ground are being drawn in tension (which is what you want) and in the opposite direction they are being compressed and crumpled up. You’ll notice that the big crawlers have a third drive wheel up in the middle of the top track. This means that no matter which direction the tractor is working, the track loading is always in tension.

Ive loved useing the yanmar as a rental for our projects. That said, we are considering buying the Agro so we can spread out jobs and not be in such a rush. Looks like a solid platform. That said, def agree with the yanmar quality. Operating without pump whine and stable movement. The more expensive systems purr like a smooth cat. Also love the coke bottle layout vs obese tub o lard. But at less than half price and intermittent use its hard to complain about agro.

I found a hitachi zx60 with a cutting blade and cab for 15, 000 dollars, this is shipping, insurance, and freight. The machine is 54 hp, and weighs 6 tons. Low hours in good shape. Is this a good deal? It ships out of china
