Oh one more important note… if rigging for gimbal use, as you have done in you video, you loose all audio inputs on the FX6, whereas the Red has a mic jack on body.

FYI: The app for the Red is just about the best I’ve ever used. So much so, that I often leave my monitor that has built in Red control at home and opt to use my smartphone.

Yeah it’s hard to believe the FX6 is better without actual footage also, a camera with global shutter will almost certainly give a way smoother image on a gimble, than one with a rolling shutter.

FX6 is going to be more powerful after firmware update V2.0. Just waiting for that.

For broadcast work I really need that shotgun mic on the fx6 and that means you have to the handle on right?

Hi everyone. I own both. Fx6 and the rs2. I really like them together. But I do always have problems in the roll axis when running fast for example. Even in sports mode. Anyone haveing the same problems? Solution? Settings. Greez to the community, Matthias

I was wondering do we have to get the 24mm g series lens on the sony fx6 or can we use the g series 24mm -105mm lens that came with it and leave it at 24mm?

Too bad that no real gimbal shots were included. Would have been quite good from my point of view for such a video. But still of course a good video. I have the FX6 and use the Crane 3s and am quite satisfied. Is just always something annoying and time consuming to callibrate the camera on the gimbal 😂

I don't know about the Komodo, but the FX6 has an integrated wireless monitoring. All you have to do is connect it to a phone/tablet wifi and stream video and control it through the app.
