Nike shoes are *way too expensive* given their middling to poor quality. The way Nikes are made, they should cost 40% less. Add in the bad vibes from their sweat shop abuse, and Nikes should cost 60% less. Never again, Nike.

For a sports shoe you need consistency and Nike doesn't have that. You buy a shoe and you like, then you go back for replacements and either the shoe isn't made anymore or you buy the same shoe and the quality is completely trashed.

Same thing we are seeing in many companies like Boeing. Replacing CEOS that had backgrounds in the developing the product they sell, with just business/managment/sales focused people that only want to make money and don't give a shit about the product.

Shoes are uglier, quality trash, colors are ridiculous, celebrities power dying, Jordan retro are played out, reseller market is huge, tech underwhelming, and they never have any dam shoes in the store.

I've pretty much abandoned Nikes for running shoes. They wear down so incredibly fast. It's a fashion brand pretending to be a sports shoe. They're just badly made fast fashion.

Problem is clear as day to me: I paid 80 bucks for walking shoes that I can’t wear comfortably due to poor quality.
They hurt my feet.
Paid half that for Skechers with zero problem.

Nike thinks they are the premium brand and producers expensive shoes, while other brands give same quality or better at a low price. I haven't bought Nike in years now.

I recently tried to replace my Nike sb janoskis that I’ve been wearing since 2016. The quality was absolutely awful, and I immediately noticed it was made of fake suede. The quality was so bad that I returned the $95 shoes and bought a pair made in 2018 off eBay. The drop in quality is absolutely massive!

The fact that there are Chinese factories pumping out the same exact shoe for 1/3 of the price means that Nike shouldn't be charging us $200 for shoes... the Nike fakes industry is huge.

nike has found a way to piss off every segment of their consumer base lol. sneakerheads hate the snkrs app and the whole draw/limited release system, people who just want normal shoes hate how overpriced they are.
