Thank you for your interesting and educational video.
Removed 118.0.1 then installed Firefox esr.

To make sure AdBlock is installed opened Firefox and went to application menu and
further navigated to 'Add-ons and themes' (Alt+Shift+A).

In my case AdBlock icon was not visible. Found out that it could be turned on
(visualize) from 'Exstensions'- icon. Clicked icon (icon like wheel)
Turned on 'Pin to Toolbar'. Now icon is visible.

What is the difference between the ublock from appcenter and ublock direct from firefox addon site?

You actually don't need to install a flatpak. You could recompile it from source or you could update your sources list to testing or unstable. I really dislike Debian stable the unstable version is closer to Arch yet not quite. I hate containers. Firefox ESR also sucks you're much better on nightly which you can build.

I had lmde 4 and installed ff esr but it kept crashing.
