Nah you wrong for this. Gameplay wise it’s a boost formula, still by no means a bad game. The soundtrack IS THE PEAK PART, YOU AINT BEEN LISTENING!!

People say it's there childhood experience that make them like it, but for me who got to the series due to the hole shadow just has a childhood charm, it's one of those stuff you watch and then feels deep nostalgic to it like it was a part of your childhood even if one week just passed....

Sonic Rush is one of the best games and it’s still a great game but some stage level are kinda annoying and hard too

Granted, my bias would force me to put it at A or higher but... if it's going to C, then at least give it the 'Introduction of the Boost mechanic in nearly every Sonic game in the past Decade', of an honorable mention it deserves, if the soundtrack isn't your thing.

*And... Sonic / Blaze being a Boss Battle is also a pretty neat concept too.*

I mean... you're not wrong. it's definitely a funky soundtrack. but I think that's what makes it so popular--it's different from all the other styles of music that the other games have. music aside, though, the level design (looking at you Altitude Limit, I hate you) sets it at probably a B for me

ska cha cha can get annoying but i love the soundtrack because nastolgia and plus the blaze the cat introduction and gameplay is decently fun, sonic feels pretty samey samey but it has good story and gave a good character (which wasn't used right in the meta era) HOLY YAP

Sonic rush music and story is great I got it recently and I’m zone 6 with sonic 6 chaos emerald come 1 with blaze no sol emeralds, but I do have just one teeny tiny little small problem with the game

THE STAGES ABSOLUTELY SUCK, I CANT COUNT HOW MANY TIMES IVE DIED BECAUSE THEY SPAM DEATH PITS OR SPAM THINGS THAT NEED TO BE USED TO GET TO THE NEXT AREA WITHOUT EXPLAINING HOW TO USE THEM I JUST WANNA HAVE FUN AND SPEED THROUGH THE LEVEL BUT ANY TIME I DO I GET FLUNG OFFSTAGE UNTO A DEATH PIT OR SPIKES

For me it's either a C or B.

The soundtrack is great, it's full of fun songs that compliment the levels really well. But I also feel they could've had more variety, as most of them feel the same.
The boost mechanic is really fun and well implemented and the levels do have a good sense of speed.

Having said that, the level design is terrible. There are so many bottomless pits that are really easy to fall into combined with some occasional buggy controls. Especially the jump, it just feels awkward sometimes.

The bosses also suck, they range from really boring to infuriating.


For me at least, too much of this game comes down to luck instead of skill.
