8:10 Did watching Barry use the mandolin make anyone else anxious?

Are we ever going to acknowledge how historically brilliant Ben is at catching things thrown at him across the room?

I grew up on a farm. The spring onion thing reminds me of one time the dairy cows got into a field of wild onions. That milk was the most awful thing I have ever tasted in my life lol

Those onion chips would be LEGENDARY on a burger

Holy, seeing Barry cutting the onions I seriously think we need a video about kitchen safety 😅 Maybe even including Kush talking about kitchen safety in a restaurant kitchen and Ben preaching to the guys about home kitchen safety 😂

"I can hear what's going on in your mouth and I don't want to be a part of it" literally had me laugh out loud.
Thanks for an entertaining start to my morning!

I love how scientifically Ben tries to look at all these. Him figuring out exactly why the mayo wasn't working, and then trying to think of what allium could possibly add to coffee, was incredible.

I also laughed way too hard at 4:39 despite very much being a normal myself.

scariest thing on the web today. Barry using a mandolin! Use the guard Baz!

Can someone PLEASE get Barry a hand guard for that mandolin! 😄 He's making me nervous.

The throw and catch of the spoon was slick. 10/10

Hi, to give further clarity on hei an Liao li, the term was coined from a 80s-90s Japanese manga featuring an up and coming chef from sichuan China. The main character often comes across villains that use forbidden techniques, drugs, poisons, etc to captivate the masses. In other words, the main character often battles what we can loosely call “cursed cuisine”, as it’s meant to, disturb, or implicitly harm (again, poisons) the consumer. The term used by Jamie, dark cuisine, would be the literal translation. In the case here, it was clearly meant to captivate viewers due to how strange it is, and ultimately harm Ben 😅.

Barry saying, "That really hurt" at 15:03 reminds me so much of the Charlie Bit my Finger video.😂

I just finished reading Forbidden Chef Secrets and honestly, it's packed with stuff I’ve never seen in regular cookbooks. The way it explains everything changed how I cook at home.

Baz: “It’s um…”
Ben: “A waste of everyone’s time.”

😂😂 I love when Ben’s a hater

I'm surely going to cause some kind of riot for saying this, but that "Hot Chocolate Croissant" is the most expensive version of a deep-fried Mars bar I've ever seen.
I'm very pleased the pastry held up and soaked up as much chocolate as it did, hat's off to Kush for pulling it off.

Why has Ben Chef the Science Food Guy hasn't had more air time?!?!?! Kush has already gotten more chaos time but Ben's Science time hasn't gotten much.

Barry *REALLY* needs to use the hand guard on that Mandolin. Jesus, giving me panic attacks over here.

13:47 "No, no, no." My exact reaction to the video of onions in coffee. Disgusting.

With a cooked egg (boiled) is old cold egg French sauce called sauce gribiche.

The Fried egg option is just a not so french variant and comes from breakfast places (often buffet) finding ways not to waste unsold/eaten fried eggs from breakfast service.
