I cannot express my gratitude enough! I stubbornly refused to use Blender 3 because the installer I got was for 2.8 which someone told me was better. Your demo is really really good. A lot of blender demonstrations are super hard to follow, so kudos to you. I think for newbies we get some weird setting accidentally set and then it doesn't behave the same. In this video I had just one stumble where the grid for the unwrapping didn't show. Clicking the "UV Sync Selection" button to keep the edit view in sync with the UV panel -- then the grid showed.

This is great! Could you do this with a video file instead of an image and have it play on an object?
