Just get a Garmin Vivomove 3 watch? In this tutorial, I show you how to set up your Garmin Vivomove 3, 3S, Luxe, or Style for the first time. This tutorial will go though turning on the Garmin Vivomove 3, Installing the Garmin Connect app, pairing with your phone, and personalizing the Garmin Vivomove 3 for you.

Follow the steps below to setup your Garmin Vivomove 3:
1. Turn on the Garmin Vivomove 3 by connecting the charging cable and then charging the Vivomove 3.
2. Navigate to your respective app store to download and install the Garmin Connect App
3. Open the Garmin Connect app and create an account.
4. Ensure your bluetooth is enabled then select the plus symbol in the app to set up a new device
5. If your Garmin Vivomove 3 is on the app should automatically find your watch. If not find the Garmin Vivomove 3 in the list of available watches. Select Connect it.
6. Check the Garmin Vivomove 3 for a pairing code. Enter that into the app when prompted
7. Go through the setup steps for sleep time, wrist, Goal setting, and device syncing.
8. Your Garmin Vivomove 3 has now been set up and is ready to be used. Enjoy!

I set the face of the watch to show the pulse, but once I start my swimming excercises, the face only shows the time. Once out of the pool the face starts showing the pulse again. I need to see the pulse reading while swimming.

Please do not buy this clock, it is peace of crap. Even when you want to set up time you have to spend 1hour for the right method to do, because sync data does not sync time, manual does not work and there are a lot of crappy software bugs in there. If a clock does not have button "set time" I have no more comments.
