U.S allies losing confidence in Zelensky? NATO wants Zelensky to talk peace with Putin | Report

According to a Wall Street Journal report, NATO's biggest European members want Ukraine to start considering peace talks with Russia. The UK has reportedly floated a defence pact with Ukraine which has the backing of France and Germany. They want to give Kyiv more weapons and security guarantees just short of membership in the U.S.-led military bloc, in order to encourage negotiations with Russia. This is because it's been a year since the war broke out, and there is growing doubts over Ukraine's ability to retake all of its territories from Russia.

They never had confidence in Zelensky's inability to win this ludicrous war, it was an epic laundering operation that has completed it's process and to see how Russia would respond with their provocation. The Russia part didn't work out as well as they had hoped, but the Laundering aspect worked out quite well.

So all the destruction and loss of life could have been avoided if they proposed something like this at the start of the conflict when they had the chance instead they encouraged the Ukraine to fight and now prepare to walk away.

Once beaten twice shy, and I doubt if Russia will ever accept deceptive peace agreements again, designed to buy time for Ukraine to acquire nuclear weapons.
And any peace agreement should be based on Russia terms for its security interests.

I don’t understand why the comedian thought that it can win against mighty Russians. If only he had not fallen for the west, Ukrain would not have got ravaged. One must assess the comprehensive national power i.e. all elements of national power vis-a-vis your enemy before you decide to take the path of a full blown war. The Ukrainians would say that we were only trying to throw the invading enemy away but why did they provoke their enemy at the first place. Why did they dither away from the Minsk agreement. They could have remained neutral and flourished. Why join camps when it could devastate you.

If Europe wants to continue its progress and not return to the Middle Ages, it must end the marriage with Ukraine. Upping the ante is starting to pay off. Europe is realising that it's no island. Indian foreign minister drove the point home. If India can stand up to the bullying it will be guaranteed to protect its national interests therefore becoming an economic powerhouse it should.

Feel pity for Zelenskey, now he has to lose most of the eastern ukraine to Russia. The Russian are taking more territories and there's no way Zelenskey will regain them with his military strength, Only peace talk he can prevent Russia from taking more territory.
