Comparison between a S-VHS record and capture versus a dump of the original DVB-S stream

in 2001 I recorded a DVB-S program on a S-VHS tape using the following flow:
Satellite to DVB-S set-top box to S-Video output to JVC HR-S9500MS, B.E.S.T. on, Sony VXSE-180VG tape

later in 2001 I purchased the DVB-S card Hauppauge WinTV DVB-S and some time later I was able to "dump" the dvb-s stream of a rebroadcast of the same program directly on PC:
Satellite to Hauppauge WinTV DVB-S, "pva" file
(in the meantime the logo of the channel has changed :-))

in 2017 the tape signal has been captured using the following flow:
JVC HR-S9500MS: DIGITAL T.B.C./N.R. on, B.E.S.T. on, COPIE off, DIGITAL 3R on
Hauppauge WinTV-Live 2 (USB-Live 2, model 1341): input S-Video, Video Proc Amp default values
AmaRecTV 3.10: video 720x576, YUY2, HuffYUV; audio 48KHz, 16bit, 2 channels
Laptop Asus ZenBook UX530UX-FY033R, Windows 10 Pro
and compared to the dump of the original dvb-s stream, that can be considered as "the reference"

Excellent! As I have an ASUS laptop as well (Vivobook X705MAR) do you have any tips about connecting a Hauppage to it. I'll bet you recorded Il Prigioniero as well. Thanks!
