Currently watching this video because premiere crashed and had some idle waiting time

I’m basically broke, so Davinci is already the best option. Plus as I’m talking to film and videography mentors, they are saying that Davinci is the best option.

Idk about you guys, but even when davinci crashes it still saves me work

I remember working on a project for 5h on Davinci, when the app suddenly crashed, I was going to jump out the window until I reopened the app to see my current progression saved 😭😭 What an absolute unit !

I can't wait for it to become industry standard, the collaboration functions are great. The simplicity is what I enjoy over premiere pro, they both have pros.

This is so true. Even if you're using Final Cut, Davinci is still a better step forward with all of it's tools and customization. I finally decided to switch this year because of a job and could not be happier that I did

Lets not forget if you buy any black magic hardware like keyboards, you get the premium version of DaVinci Resolve for free

Im on year 2 of Davinci after using Premiere Pro for about 4 or 5. Davinci resolve is absolutely fantastic with literally the only downside I can possibly find is that the stock delay/reverb audio effects are complete trash but thankfully it supports vst3 so I’m happy

As a young video editor who started at 14, I find DaVinci very useful. Now I can make my own living at 17 as a video editor after both of my families died when I was 16.

Also another thing thats way better in da vinci is the design and workflow of the program. Its much easier to find the effects you want to use.

In my personal experience, resolve still has a lot of bugs and crashes on me often, but not quite as much as premier pro, and all the other pros keep me on resolve.

I'll definitely try out davinci resolve when I get more into editing because it looks very well designed for a free program.

First I used PP, then I switched to DVR and then again switched to PP due to node issue… but when I switched to PP I feel its a toy. DVR is much powerful than PP. Now I upgraded studio version.

I’ve used Davinci for years and can’t say I’ve ever had it crash on me. I’ve been blessed. I do also have a save button on my stream deck just in case tho

The thing that seems to go unnoticed is that editing done with Premiere just feels so much more smoother and professional. It's hard to describe but when you see a (well-edited) video made with premiere you just immediately notice that it was made using Premiere (and I'd have no idea how to do it in Davinci). But since I also don't want to pay the obnoxious price of $50 MONTHLY I've also chosen DaVinci Resolve, but while mostly trying to recreate the editing style of Premiere. My videos (mostly shorts) show how I try to recreate "Premiere's" editing style, and I think that it works for many (but certainly NOT all) situations.

I agree 100% with you! But one thing that I find a little bit better in Premier is the UI personnalisation. But Davonci is still better than Premier for sure!

I prefer how DaVinci works over Adobe. For my own content I would stick with DaVinci. The YouTubers I help edit all use Adobe. Both are goo, both work

when I started editing literally DaVinci saved me with free and super cool features

I have davinci, but I also like making edits of cars. The problem is Davinci lacks effects. So I realy want after effect, because it always looks like there is way more effects and is easier to use them.
