Have you considered building a rig to perform the bend tests more reproducibly? So that you can measure the forces applied up to the failure point - and rank phones accordingly by how much force they can take before breaking?

I would love to see you re-test the 15 Pro Max to see if it's something at least slightly consistent in production. I know it's still a small sample size, but it is double

Judging by many teardown videos from other creators, the reason why the 15 Pro Max back glass broke was due to it not having a metal plate adhered to it, unlike the base model 14 and 15’s. In PRG and another YouTuber’s teardown, the base model iPhone 14 and 15 have a metal plate glued to the interior side of the back glass. The 15 pro and pro max do not.

I love how Apple brought back the aluminum problems we had with the iPhone 6 and 7 where the bigger phones started to break, all started again with the iPad a few years back
