People who have had a visa interview know that it may not seem like the Visa Officer is paying attention during your interview. They may be typing as you walk up to the window, and even continue throughout the interview. They may be looking at their computer screen why they talk to you. And, they might not even make much eye contact with you at all during the course of the interview.

The VO was typing the whole time he was interviewing me, I just stopped talking waiting for him because I didn’t want to be rude, talking to him when he was working.Ben I was obviously very wrong. Sad to say I was refused my F1 visa 214b. Now I get it

I agree with the video. My Visa Interviewer asked me questions and all the while typing stuff on the computer hardly looking at me.. only pausing to see my passport for previous travel history .. and Boom Visa Approved after just-10 mins !!

I had the same story 17 y.a. That the officer looked at me for first 10-15 sec, after he was typing, printing, walking but continuously listening. I also was not getting a question ever it was to far or I didn't get it, although after I said that I don't understand the question, the officer rephrase it and I was able to respond.
As I am saying they are paying full attention and multitasking.
My officer looked very look alike as this officer

When you say they are looking at your application does that mean they have access to our sat test results and our academic performance scores? If not what access do they have when you say by "your application"
