Russia lost USD 8 billion as a result of the oil price cap. And the embargo of Western countries on energy resources from Russia has achieved its goal - according to the International Energy Agency. At the same time, despite the sanctions, trade with Russia is not declining everywhere: the aggressor country is trying to find loopholes in order to continue exporting oil and gas, and spend the proceeds on the war with Ukraine. How the price cap contributed to lower revenues - our correspondents found out.

The Russians must learn to embrace the horror, things are going to get much much worse.

I have a connection with a Russian woman studying here in the UK. Her father is a Wealthy Businessman and along with his family they're desperate to leave Russia. Putin has frozen all their Russian Bank Accounts. Putin and his Allies will not suffer any hardship from his War, whilst still being surrounded by their wealth and Military protection, not really what we would call progress for ordinary Russians ..God Bless Ukraine.

It would be interesting to put some GPS trackers in the sanctioned goods that we suppose are going to Russia through other countries or channels.

Tighten the sanctions more and add in those countries/organizations that are facilitation the Ruzzian 'grey market'. Keep up your courage, relentlessness and cautiousness Ukraine. Stay strong and resilient - you will prevail!!! 🇺🇦💙💛🇺🇦

Turkey does not want to allow Sweden in the EU/NATO, ands helps Soviets sell oil, seems sanctions should be placed on them, or prevent them from interfering with the European and Scandinavian Countries entering NATO. Make up your mind Turkey ! For or against? One or the other.

Ukraine needs thermobaric warheads (at least 200 of them) and a delivery system of hypersonic long-range missiles that can hit Red Square and St Petersburg Harbor. That can flatten this both in 20 minutes.

But...increase of trade with Iran and China and North Korea make up a lot for that. So do not be to happy yet .

In the west we are already seeing inflations fall, and a small gradual recovery of the economy, This will just keep improving as the wests econmies fully compensate and integrate new sources... Russia is just to much of a economic meme state, with its GDP of aprox 1.5TD... As things stabilice, the west can shift focus to secondary countries and inpose secondary sanctions, and most nations simply cant be without the western economy, not even china can afford to loose access to the western markets as there is no other that s big nough to pick up if they would get secondary sancations, so as many in this thread already pointed out, its going to get alot more worse for russia... And i can give you alot of reasons why, but mostly the combined economies supporting Ukraine is aprox 60TD reasons...

Hey UATV, when are you going to start reporting the effects that the Western sanctions against Russia are having on the UK and
Unaffordable utility prices, people having to choose between heat or food, food bank usage at record levels, real inflation beyond 30%, mass protests, riots and general strikes including doctors, nurses and paramedics. Here in the UK, Zelenskyy's bosum pal Sunak has a MINUS 20 approval rating, with his political party (the Conservative Party) looking at total annihilation in the next general election in less than two years, with the opposition in complete disarray. Among the electorate support for Western intervention in Ukraine is in free fall.
Also the UK is a multi-racial and multi-cultural country and both my Indian and Chinese relatives aren't fighting any 'whitey war'. And certainly not one that ends in nuclear exchange.
