Russia is the most sanctioned economy in the world - yet this year Russia is set to grow faster than all advanced economies, according to the International Monetary Fund.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Russia to grow 3.2% this year, significantly more than the UK, France and Germany.

Vladimir Putin is hosting an International Economic Forum in St Petersburg, where it's claimed that delegates from more than 130 countries and territories are taking part.

Not international sanctions, western sanctions

In other words, European countries are still buying the same Russian oil and gas but from third party countries and also paying more for it! 😂😂

The funny part is that Sunak actually blamed Russia for causing the UKs economy to collapse, right after a fresh wave of “new sanctions”.

But BBC told us Russia is fighting with shovels, out of missiles and its economy is about to collapse.

Do not take this as a joke, but in Russia many manufacturers do not want the lifting of sanctions. When Russia banned the import of imported food, Russian agricultural producers increased production and the country took the first place in grain production. The same is true with the new sanctions. And restrictions in the banking sector will not help the West. At my job in Russia, for example, after the imposition of sanctions on Raiffeisenbank, my owners transferred our company's accounts to a Russian bank, which was terribly pleased with the influx of our money. And if you prohibit your Western banks from paying us abroad (not in Europe or the USA), Russian banks will open (and are already opening) their branches abroad and will make settlements instead of Western banks. It's very simple. Russia is a self-sufficient country with many friends. And you have lost our money and your income.

India has been buying large amounts of discounted Russian oil, refining it, and then selling the refined products to Europe. This means that Europe is getting oil products that ultimately originated from Russia (with Indian mark up).

Who ever remembers Russian journalists asking questions to Biden? Or Sunak? But Putin receives systematically journalists from the West asking him any question they like. But still there is no democracy in Russia, unlike the Western countries 😂

Ignorance of European leadership is unimaginable. Russia is not an import dependent economy. The only industry they miss is semiconductor but that they can easily obtain from a third party. Even a nation like North Korea can survive sanctions. How in the world you are expecting Russian economy to collapse when they have all the industries and raw materials they want? It is the most self sufficient nation in the world. Why Europe do not put sanctions on Russian gas and Uranium?
