Fantastic video! Storm preparations are always anxiety-ridden as you don't know what to expect. Preparing for the worse and hoping for the best is the way to go. That monohull cruising around after the anchor failed is a little disconcerting as you don't know how much fuel they have, and if they have no motor they have no directional control. Just glad your boat and the rest endured, unharmed.

Thank you for your video . And than God you all are okay . I can’t imagine being on a Boat riding out a Hurricane. On Land is bad enough. Been through 4 in Florida and wouldn’t wish the devastation on anyone. Praying for EVERYONE affected by this Hurricane.

Emily and Cole, May God bless you and protect you always.

Keep God in the forefront of your videos. I’ve seen the mention of church and can sense your faith in the Lord.

Now, I’m seeing blessings, prayers and God in the reviews.

I’ve enjoyed your journey. Great videos, challenges, and the strength of God protecting you two through multiple hurricanes.

God will always protect you.

I was on Carriacou visiting with my family during Beryl. It was quite a traumatic experience for all of us. Not just going through the hurricane and the fear that brought, but seeing the absolute destruction of the place I called home was even more frightening. The complete and utter loss and devastation is almost more than one can bare.

I'll admit seeing people like you guys makes me wish I would have been a little smarter or life would have handed me something different because since a very young age I've hated the Midwest and any time living here but my parents were here and moving back to the islands is not cheap. Now I'm a parent and husband so it's gonna be at least two more years before my boat sees water and we set out for half of the grand loop and get back to Tampa where I truly feel at home. Working a 9 to 5 has never been me and I'm about as far away as can be from what I thought my life would be in high school. The loss of my father and sister. Finding the right person to spend my life with. Having kids when I never planned to and was told I never would.

I'd take a hurricane any day over a 3 month long freezing cold winter with snow and ice and being trapped in the house. Good luck to you guys and enjoy living together in paradise

That was a heck of experience for you guys. Can’t imagine me in that situation omg 😱. You guys going away from them to park the boat and finding a cat 4 in ground zero that’s crazy and wild! 😱 thankfully everything went well and now keep your plans going

hey guys! It's Evan from Dacia. We met in the Berries. I'm the "sailing off anchor to get some starlink service guy" hahah!! I'm glad you guys are safe! I'm currently in Rio Dulce and was tracking Beryl pretty closely. I had plans to get to Grenada this season, I'm now pretty happy I chose to come here.
