As far as I understand : Every system has pros and cons.

Here you listed only the pros. But, for a well informed decision to switch from public to private, I would also like to know about the CONS of Private health insurance.

And also would like to know how private health insurance works for scenarios like:
- when I am earning,
- when I am not earning,
- when I have kids - how much do I pay for them,
- when I have spouse who is not working - how is she covered,
- how much do I need to pay when I have retired,
- if I have fatal disease/ fatal accident, will my premium rise
