It is outrageous how little one gets when on maternity/paternity leave (actually the new law will leave some parents out if I understand correctly- a video about that would be very interesting). Is there a way to bump it up in the private insurance? Something like seniority or unemployment top up but for maternity leave?

Hi, what if I'm eligible to the private health insurance now (earn 70k on 2024) but my salary doesn't increase in the next 3 years?
I mean the eligibility criteria will continue to go up every year and I might not be eligible in 2025 (income 71k or more) or 2026 (income 74k or more)
Do I have to move back to the public health insurance or how does it work?

Do you only recommend moving to the private health insurance if you are pretty sure you are always going to be above that threshold?

Thanks
