3 months ago, I moved to the Jax (Orange Park 32073) area from Miami, and I find Jacksonville to be laid back and quiet, Blanding Blvd traffic is the negative and night life is not as great but I can live with that.

Add St Augustine and thier beaches which are only 30 min. away. Not to mention Daytona beaches are only one hour and 10 min. away. Lots and lots of things to do living in Jacksonville.

Spent the first 24 years of my life trying to get out of Jax. Life has been better since ✌🏾

They are building a ton of new houses and stuff downtown, but where are the fortune 500 companies and all of the JOBS that come along with them. Jax has been trying to actually make a downtown since the 90s and just cant get it done.

Reasons to move to Jax:
Youre in the Navy.
Youre in the Marines
Youre in the Army
You work in healthcare
You work at Jaxport
You have a high paying remote job
Your family is there.
