I make something similar called Biryani.. I first cook either beef, chicken, goat or lamb in spices, then add the rice on top & cook on low heat until rice is fluffy.

Beautiful we make similar rice in Somalia. We use basmati rice and usually use goat meat for the stock. We don’t use bell peppers and we also caramelize our onions, we use garlic, cumin powder, and cilantro. Yours looks amazing though. Love my Naja people! ❤
