I personally, still found issues at 4khz as I tested some of the games I play (Left 4 Dead 2, Risk of Rain 2, Minecraft) and found that it still had a small amount of frame lag when playing games so I switched to 2khz and it appears to perform the same as 1000hz but have noticeably better accuracy and no stuttering. Having a 240Hz monitor helped me big time with testing this.

I had to use an USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 port on my motherboard to make 8000 Hz polling rate work. USB 2.0 was not enough.

I’ve found out that it’s not the games causing stuttering but the programs running in the backround that in some way interact with games. Like discord when game overlay is enabled, anticheat etc.

Got the M65 Ultra. Never cared about the higher polling rate, just wanted the upgraded M65, but liked the smoother experience so much that I ordered the Viper too to check it out.
Was like going from a luxury yacht to a moldy dinghy.
