Faker has had a rough week.

Footage emerged last weekend of him repeatedly head-butting a wall after a loss to Gen.G last weekend and then earlier this week, T1 confirmed that Faker had come down with COVID.

This comes after a year of extreme highs and lows for him – and with a place at Worlds still on the line for T1, concerned fans are wondering if there’s simply too much pressure on the League of Legends GOAT.

Faker had always been able to handle pressure and expectations from the public, his fall back in 2019 didn't faze him to continue climbing back to the top. You need to understand that this should be coming from somewhere else, I would point at the DDOS attack, for more than a year now, T1 has been constantly targeted by these attacks to the point that most of their players are unable to play, practice, and scrim. This will inevitably affect your performance, Faker always strived to get better, to improve himself but the attacks are depriving him and the rest of the team of that opportunity.

Faker's bare minimum is not winning LCK nor MSI. It is being top 4 on worlds. You know how great you are if you have that type of bare minimum like what Caedrel said. Kinda feel bad about that guy. This year the guy had a reoccuring wrist injury, had Ddos attacks, had a bad series full of misplays, and had covid after. Just give this man a break before he breaks even more.

This situation fucking sucks... being the player that became THE symbol for his game, garnering all the adoration and obtaining achievements that any player in your league has ever dreamed of just to be crushed by the weight of it all is just so fucking tragic. The only good part in that video is seeing his team immediately come to him while he was breaking. He deserves to have his own privacy and time, hope the team just lets him recover and deal with all his troubles.

Thanks for the video. People stating not to show it which I understand. However, it shows the true reality of the pressure they place on not only faker, but other esport professionals; especially the Chinese and Korean teams.
