Faker's DDoSers Hit A New Low

T1 has announced it is suspending its League of Legends team from streaming due to a continuation of the DDoS attacks that have plagued them for the past 6 months.

Riot provided a temporary fix for the team during MSI which seemed to have worked but the attackers have found a new approach: iIf you can’t take down the T1 players directly, take down their random solo queue teammates.

Things are getting dirty and the tension between T1 and Riot is beginning to show.

Y'know, when I found out that leagues client is chrome based, my first thought was, 'This game sounds like it's being held together with duct tape'.

I just can't wrap my head around having such malice against a team or players that you just shut them offline on any sign of life.

I remember when they announced to make an entirely new client and launcher a couple of years ago. People didn't like it, but Riot promised a "much better quality" and the option to "remove a lot of bad code to make it more reliable"

With each year that passes I believe more and more that all they did was change the brand of superglue they use.

Riot had better be taking the money from Faker’s $500 Ahri skin and make sure that Faker can actually play the fucking game maybe.

Ddos with Faker might be a big fatal. Reflex is something that people need to train to improve and maintain, playing with high-rankers can help with this better than playing with those at lower ranks than you. Faker is already at the age where his reflex is slowly going down if not trained, that's why he needs to train more than anyone that is younger than him.

New game : Guess which country the DDOS is from? *Hint: They usually cheat in every possible game or competition. Their national team in PUBG international match was kicked out during mid-game because of cheating.

T1 did everything in this issue btw, the DDoS attacker cant penetrate the T1 member's internet speed anymore, and then the DDoS do now is instead of attacking them, they would attack whoever Zeus Oner Faker Guma Keria's teammates in the solo queue now instead of them which is more ridiculous now and this is more alarming cause the attacker can literally choose who they want to attack which is alarming

one simple solution, mask the teammates username with fake ones, that way the viewer/DDos cant see the username so it could be harder to find the IP

Given that this doesn't happen for Dota, a smaller game with bigger money pots, Riot doesn't have an excuse.

Edit: to clarify - what I am trying to say is that the smaller prize pool for League tournaments means that less investment goes into making the competition secure. Riot can afford to care less, and so gives less of a shit. If the tournaments paid TI-level money, you can bet that orgs would be way more ready for lawsuits, which would force Riot to take more drastic measures to make their competitive environment less prone to manipulation.
