I just sold our 2015 4runner, I can honestly say it was the best vehicle we have ever owned .The quality of a Toyota is something I will really miss. I had to buy a F250 to pull a large travel trailer.

For the pedal commander, when you go into 4-low also put the pedal commander into economy mode. This helps greatly with the lesser throttle response needed in 4-low.

I don't know. According to Youtube, I thought the first 5 mods were supposed to be:
1.) Custom long travel suspension
2.) 33" mud terrains
3.) Steel front and rear bumpers
4.) Rear drawer system including 12V refrigerator
5.) Magnsuon supercharger, cause for some reason your 4Runner feels "underpowered"

My husky LOVES my 4Runner. Shepherd could care less about having a rear window but the big happy hairy monster loves looking at the drivers behind me. I get a kick out of peoples reaction when he wakes up from a nap, pops his head up, and checks out who is following me. Though I have to bring the window up a pretty good bit because he likes to hang out the back and you know huskies aren't the best at taking orders.

Just got done with the $25 LED interior lighting kit from Amazon. Holy crap what a difference! The trunk lights are amazing for getting stuff in and out when it's dark out.

Full interior LED was the first thing I did to my '18. Especially useful for the hatch lights in my opinion. I do a lot of backpacking and would sometimes come home after sundown and have to remove various things from my hatch/trunk. The halogens are decent, but they also just seem dated. LED really lights up everything so well.

I just wish my model came with LED headlights since apparently doing a simple bulb swap isn't ideal because the light housings are essentially tuned for the factory halogens. Could retrofit a newer model LED housing to my '18, but then it gets exponentially more pricey to go the OEM route.

That center console comes completely open so you can keep your piece there. Toyota even has a locking inner lid that turns it into a gun safe.

Don’t forget to tint your windshield ! That’s must it cuts the heat out . I think it’s 70 percent or lighter.

Just bought a 2015 4Runner Trail with 200k miles, runs great *knock on wood*. First purchase was a center console insert safe. Bolts right in there, and is a fantastic addition if you travel with cash or carry a gun and can't go into the bank or Post Office while carrying; just lock it up with any other valuables, nice and secure.

Good to see a familiar face on Youtube! Just got my 4Runner, can't wait to mod it. Greetings from Vista CA

Great video! But I have to warn you about your front red recovery rings...where you have them attached are actually lash down points for when they came over on the seagoing auto carrier ships and on auto flat beds, so the 4Runner doesn't shift while in transit. I"ve seen some really bad front end damage from using those stock lash down points...when over-stressed. Everyone does it and it can be a very costly mistake! Please keep up the great work!

Thank you so much! I have been looking for a cargo liner that works with the cargo tray for weeks! I just got my 4Runner so that was my very first purchase. Thank you
