For me, my number one is a hand carved Piglet toy from Winnie the Pooh that my grandfather made for me. I was obsessed with the Hundred Acre Wood as a young kid, and my grampa carved my favorite character for me. He passed ten years back, but because of that Piglet toy, he'll be with me forever.

2 things in my "collection" that are worthless but I would never let go.
1) A fisher price wind up TV that plays Row Row Row Your Boat. It's my original from when I was a toddler.
2) My cuddly cheater called Speedy. I got him in Wales when I was 4. He's missing an eye. His tail has a burn. His stuffing is coming out. I'd neither have him throw out OR repaired. He's mine.

I still have a ‘Tomytronic 3D’ game from the 80’s, it’s the Thundering Turbo car racing one with white plastic case, still in to box too. I spent countless hours playing that! It was still working the last time I tried it, but that was a few years ago. The monkey toy that you have, looks remarkably like a smaller version of a Tomy Zoid toy, that was called ‘Gore - The Lord Protector’.

Wish I still had more of my childhood stuff, sadly nearly all my stuff was either car booted without my knowledge, handed down, or dumped.
I don't have any toys with the memories like you have with those, brilliant👍
[Edit]oh maybe 1 now I think about it. Might do a VR but won't be for a week or so if I do it as planning a pickups this weekend.

Sadly mine all got bootsaled or put mine all in various school fetes or donated to my nieces & nephews so what remains of my childhood toys is mostly just the worthless items that got forgotten about in the loft. Everyone reached those teenage years and wanted to clear out there room for teenage items so when friends or girls came over they looked more grown up (Such regret). I have a Boglin (Mostly rotted), some pirate Lego, a Tango Man figure and a Galoob Animal truck toy as pretty much my only surviving items :( .
