Miscarriage people can present with various symptoms and signs. People can come with spotting or bleeding or with specific instant brown discharge. Some of them will have lower abdomen or lower back pain. Some don’t have any symptoms and the diagnosis is made on an ultrasound when we find that the gestational sac has no embryo or exclusively called as a blighted ovum or they can be poor growth in the gestational sac not as it should be or there is an embryo without any heartbeat and typically these could be some of the ultrasound findings. Also on a blood test the beta HCG values should be double in 48 hours. Whereas in a failed pregnancy or a failing pregnancy the beta HCG doubling does not happen. There are some patients with vital incompetence. These patients come without any warning signs or symptoms. They can suddenly present with bulging membranes and cervical dilatation. These are some of the warning signs of miscarriage.
