Make it mandatory, teach Civics in the schools. Our electorate is dangerously uneducated and lack critical thinking skills.

I’m a registered Republican. The fact that I vote Democrat doesn’t mean that I’m Democrat. I’m voting for Democracy!

Life long republican here and have never once been polled. Don't assume 93% when many of us have never been asked. Always a never Trumper from 2015!!

She's making a lot of good points. I am extremely grateful for her and her Dad for speaking out. I wished many more would do the same. She has a lot of courage.

I’ve not been a fan of Liz Cheney in the past, but she has earned my respect in recent years - starting with the Trump impeachment hearings. She has my heart, in her COUNTRY over PARTY loyalty. If we lose this precious Democracy, it will be a far greater tragedy than any partisan squabbling.

I'm a democrat but I would vote for Liz Cheney! Thank you, Liza, for always putting country over party.

Everyone should read Liz Cheney's book "Oath of Honor". It clearly describes what Trump was willing to do to our Country and clearly shows her ability to be factual and truthful. Liz Cheney is a guiding light for the Republican Party to survive as a Party.

Liz Cheney is a proud Republican from a decades old hard core Republican family. Publicly endorsing VP Harris is sending a message to all the MagaTs....get rid of tRUMP and we'll rebuild the party ! Kudos to her...her father...and all the others...who can put country before the "supreme leader" .

I 'm a democrat, but I like Liz Cheney. She wants what is best for the country. I hope Kamala will consider her for a seat on her cabinet. This country needs people like her. She knows the difference between good and bad. There is not enough of that going around.

More Republicans need to use their courage muscle and not let a bully dominate them anymore. Have a freakin backbone please.

I saw Liz in the Jan 6th hearings in which she co-chaired. I definitely respect her and her truthfulness and belief in democracy and our constitution.

Thanks Liz Cheney. Your patriotism as joint chair on the Jan. 6 Committee at the peril of you own political career was heroic.

Thank you, Ms. Cheney. Like you, I have been a lifelong Republican. I want to thank you and your Dad for your service and patriotism. You both made a difficult decision a little easier.

She has a point. When you go back and listen to Reagan, Nixon, Bush1 and Bush2, today's republicans would not have them. They would sound way too liberal to them. The party of trump is crazy. They have lost their way.

I'm 66 yrs old, a single white rural male. Ever since John and Robert Kennedy were shot in the 1960s, I've never seen a candidate worth my vote, so all my life I've never even considered registering let alone voting, until now. All my life, I never cared two hoots about presidents and voting until I watched Harris at her first rally in PA and I caught the enthusiastic social feel good vibe. It's obviously a very contagious and popular state of being. I normally go the opposite direction from the crowd but I can feel the collective enthusiastic pulse growing inside me and it's like; Harris fulfilling her destiny as the first female president is pulling me to fulfill my destiny as a first time voter. Its our national destiny with a capital D, pulling on all of us, there's no avoiding it. As a woman, Harris will not be just another president, she's a first, with the same "first energies" as George Washington. It's one-off. And it makes me wonder... if Harris is affecting a life-long non-voter like me this strongly, how many more first time voters are being affected as well? There's possibly as many as 50 million lifelong nonvoters out there, who just like me, will vote for the first time in their lives this election. This is why I hate watching TV news, too much mob mentality brewing lol
