I'm a 75-year-old caucasian woman. One side of my family is Southern. The first incidence of straight-up racism I experienced was by an aunt. We went to Greyhound Bus Depot to pick her up in 1959. She was in a raging fit and demanding to see the manager. She wanted the white bus driver to be fired for refusing to make an “N-word” woman who sat beside her move. The poor manager told her the same thing my folks had. Laws are different West of the Mississippi River. I appreciate this guest being honest. From my experience, racism is a big factor in the Republic Party for a good while. Until it is confronted the Republic Party will never be viable again. Conservatives will need to develop a bonafide alternative. Until then ~ vote Blue for the sake of our democracy. 👵🏻🗳💙🇺🇸

I'm an educated, white, suburban, female that voted for Nikki Haley. I even went to one of her campaign rallies. She is now a very conflicted woman that has chosen her career over what is right for the country. I will never support or vote for her again. Thank goodness for Liz Chaney.
