awww such a cute little kitty! Thank god she stopped and rescued it. I was riding my bike in the summer and almost ran over a chipmunk on the sidewalk that darted right in front of me. I can only hope nobody left the kitty there on purpose.

A note to everyone: in the winter/cold weather regions knock firmly on the hood of your car. Any sleeping cats should come out. I do this before and after turning the car on.

I swear - some animals have a death wish. I once stopped to pick up a hedgehog calmly walking on the road between driving cars. Ungrateful a$$hole made angry noises at me after i put him down away from the road - like i interrupted his pleasant stroll or something.
