Climate activists spray paint over Walmart heiress's super yacht

Climate activists have attacked a superyacht belonging to Walmart heiress Nancy Walton Laurie, spraying red and black paint across the stern.

The vessel was vandalised on Sunday in Ibiza by members of the Spain-based environmental group Futuro Vegetal.

Two activists were photographed holding a sign that read: “You Consume Others Suffer”.

A crew member can be seen behind them hosing the paint off the side of the boat.

Both of the demonstrators were arrested.

Walmart is the biggest corporation in the world. Started by Sam Walton, now run by his kids and they are very wealthy, tho workers aren't paid great wages. Most places, wages are at or just above minimum wage (in my state its $15/hr). When you start at Walmart, in your orientation packet of papers to sign, you receive an application for food assistance, aka food stamps. Which means not only do your wages not take you out of the federal level of poverty so that food aid is available, it means that the Walton family gets subsidized by the federal govt for employees that receive food stamps. Yeah.
There has GOT to be some level of wealth where a person has enough, right? Where effing up other peoples' lives is something you avoid because YOU CAN AFFORD TO AVOID IT

solution: spray yacht with Teflon, paint cant stick hose off and have a back yard sprayer full of green dye concentrate to spray them -pay the fine for spraying them sit back and enjoy money well spent as they take a month for the dye to wear off

It infuriates me to see the amount of profit a company makes and the low wages they pay the people that made them rich. I am all for making money to support the entrepreneur's dreams but really? Spray painting someones yacht should get these people jail time however.
