Climate activists spray paint Stonehenge

A group of protesters from the group Just Stop Oil sprayed orange paint on the Stonehenge historical site Wednesday.

The activists demanded that the UK government cease all use of fossil fuels by 2030.

"Standing inert for generations works well for stones – not climate policy," the group said in a statement.

While the paint was meant to make a statement and draw attention to the climate crisis, Just Stop Oil says that it's made of cornflour and will "‘soon wash away with the rain."
