My wife recently passed from cancer 3 weeks after our wedding. This song always spoke to us as we both felt that we were slow dancing as life burned around us and even danced to it together at our wedding. This lesson has been amazing as it showed up as I was trying to learn it myself. thank you for great tutorial much easier then a bar C chord in the original

It blows my mind that you made such a complicated song playable. Thank you so much. Great lesson!!

Brilliant…thanks! You’ve snapped me out of on of those phases where I spend more time looking at guitars on the EvilBay than I do playing them and sent me running off to get my acoustic out….I love these versions that you do.

Man it's impressive af how you manage to fit all that in a 5 min video. Thanks for your lessons Ryan, please keep going!

Idk if you take requests from YouTube comments, but since you also do theme songs, a video on superman by lazlo bane, aka the scrubs theme, would be awesome

These tunes are so haunting. Also it's funny to have a campfire version of a song dealing with a burning room

Thank you much for this. I’ve been bashing my head against the wall trying to learn this song and thinking to myself “how the hell am i supposed to play *that* and sing?”

This is so much easier to play and sounds just as good to boot. Seriously, thank you ❤️

Pure genius! Thanks so so much! As a beginner I totally struggled with the regular version of SDIABR (on the electric guitar) but this one sounds at least as good but is easier to learn.

This video was excellent! These simplified but still great sounding campfire style versions are just what I wanted. And toodlee-doo is now my favorite new way to talk about musical styling on notes and phrases

I am just commenting for the algorithm as that left me speechless in under 5 minutes. Well done!

Tho I watch lots of talented guitar players teach songs, I would've never thought someone would teach me one of my favourite songs to cry to much simpler than anybody else.
Thank you for your knowledge and for sharing it!
